We are very please to present the Meliá Caribe Tropical, an all inclusive beach & Golf resort located in Playas De Bávaro, Dominican Republic.
The Meliá Caribe Tropical was at one point two resorts converted into one very large resort. The grounds are well kept and there is beautiful peacock and flamingos roaming around. The staff is superb, polite and professional. As soon as you arrive you are treated like royalty.
The energy is very inviting and everyone has a smile. The food at all the eat in restaurants is superb. Service is excellent and all the staff members go out of the way to make you feel at home. The Dominican style restaurant is open extra late so you can grab a mid night snack just before heading to bed. One of the staff members informed our team of this because not too many guests know this. There are many pools to choose from, some are busy with many people and some are relaxing and more low key.
The beaches are very clean, with fun activities and relaxing sun beds. Since the resort is so big they provide a trolley train to drive you around the resort on a yellow brick road, they also have private golf cart pickup service. There is a Flintstones fun center for children and a gaming casino, relaxation spa, fitness gym and night time entertainment for the adults to relax and enjoy. After the entertainment showcase is over, everyone gathers in a relaxing, open concept, covered, outside bar area, and traditional music is played while guests engage in some dancing.
Located about 5 minutes just outside the resort grounds is a shopping mall filled with designer clothing, shoes and many brand name boutique shops. Also near by is a world class golf course. The best thing about the Meliá Caribe Tropical is you can do so much, all under one roof.

This resort is a dream come true for any bride to be with a stunning horse and carriage buggy ride, professional onsite photographers and wedding planners. Meliá Caribe Tropical has many exquisite areas to have your wedding ceremony, but we believe the best location is under the gazebo of angels.
The room interiors are well decorated at the Meliá Caribe Tropical also very modern and stylish. Equipped with flat screen television and a music player. The balcony in to rooms are very clean, private and quite. The bathing room has imported soaps and the cleaning staff always does a very nice job.
